I don’t think that the above is actually Mettle, because Mettle has been DISAPPEARED FROM HISTORY as much as Mr. Met 1.5 has.
And kids, I know the Mets act like they are all about Mr. Met, and maybe they are, but there was a good twenty years where you didn’t see Mr. Met AT ALL.
Think to yourself…1986 Mets…now picture anything from the 80s with Mr. Met in it. You’d think Mr. Met would have attended that game that season.
