Is he magically going to be better than Willie Mays Lagares as a defensive replacement?
Isn’t he the every day third baseman anyway? (Oh sorry, I wasn’t supposed to tell anyone. He’s totally not the every day third baseman, David Wright is).
And for younger readers, why don’t you google Howard Johnson Center Field or ask your elders about some of the other nonsense that went on in the past.
Mets, don’t waste even one spring training out on this.
This probably means that David Wright is looking and feeling ok, so Reyes can’t count on getting a majority of playing time at 3B.
