The white letters and numbers on Actual Mets Jerseys worn by Actual Mets looks cheap

I’m going to coin a term: Replicazation (all yours Paul). This is when actual pro-team jerseys take on the qualities of fan replica jerseys.

In this case, yuck – why do the Mets have plain white letters and numbers on their backs? I know someone out there thinks it’s cool that there is all sorts of design within the numbers (is there a uni term for that) but it looks like Noah and Matt were too cheap smart to pay $330 for an authentic jersey.
