Mets Morning Laziness: Rainouts, Rotations & Ripoffs!

Good morning.  I feel like I might die (which might make some of you happy).  Some of the T-Shirt Adjacent People made me stay out past 10pm and then my dog barked at 5-something and my body is still coming down off that adrenaline shock.  Old people like me need sleep.

Although the T-Shirt Adjacent People were there, Dear Leader was somehow able to stay home to record a podcast.  Not sure how that works.  No podcast from Jason &  I this week because of The Big Media Goon Wedding today (congrats to @mediagoon) but if you like Mets & Star Wars there are plenty of archival episodes available.  Or you know, T-Shirt Guy was able to record a new one.  Speaking of podcasts, I see yet another Mets one started this week – was it any good?

Any way, we should get to Mets stuff.

Conforto made the Opening Day lineup, I am still amazed that was even a question.

The Mets set the rotation.  It is…

And ICYMI the exhibition game today was rained out. Refund info is:

In stuff I won’t be linking to:

  • one of the Amazin’ Apple Insider Blogs wrote that Matt Harvey faces uncertainty.  Thanks.  Don’t we all.
  • one of the other Amazin’ Apple Insider Blogs is mad at me because I am pointing out that they are calling their links compilation the Morning Briefing.  Hey man, at least TRY.  I don’t go calling my site Mets Uni Watch although I may just rename it Adam Rubin.  Just try guys.  A little.  Just try.

Also, the ’47 Shop is selling this.  Who wants to tell them?

Love you Paul, had to prove a point.

Moving on….

The t-shirt guy is selling these.

Two Boots Viewing party next week.

And I think that’s it.  Rough morning.  Pass the iced coffee.
