Here are my suggestions:
- Enforce the pitch clock thats on the books
- Create the “get your ass in the batter’s box clock”
- Run in from the bullpen clock
- No warm up pitches
- No mound visits. Or you get three time outs per game or something. Get yourself a captain to tell the pitcher what the hell to do.
- The Keith Hernandez Rule: if the game has gone three hours, is boring, and well know what the result would be, the game is over.
- Ties after 10 innings (see earlier post)
- Pitchers have to face two batters. Pitch better.
