Hey, we all love the World Baseball Classic and how it grows the game of baseball. I thought we could check in on the guys who helped grow the game, and see how their experience is helping the Mets win the 2017 World Series.
Jose Reyes. Ummmmm.
Hansel Robles.
Seth Lugo. Unfortunately may have cost himself a lot of money, but he does have a cool Runners Up trophy.
T.J. Rivera. Already in Vegas because Terry burnt the bullpen and the Mets needed to sacrifice someone to the gods.
Jeurys Familia. We shall see.
Salas and Rene Rivera. OK I guess.
Ty Kelly was sent away and is now growing the sport internationally in Toronto.
And some minor leaguers….we can worry about them some other time.
Overall it looks like a fine job growing the sport internationally, especially in the United States, home of the WBC champions.
