Slackish Reaction: Baseball is so boring. I started writing this at 9:10pm last night because Terry just took Robles out so now there’s like 5 minutes between pitches….and I was already bored before that. I love GKR and I love GK but the GR nights tend to be the boring nights. Keith brings the danger. Plus this sport is pretty boring. A post about that later today.
I saw a Jose Reyes double! And a terrible Jose Reyes error! But Friday is Jose Reyes t-shirt night, so he’s safe. I went to bed after 8. It’s just not worth it to me to watch boring games. I’d rather sleep. I don’t get to sleep in until 11….see below.
Anyway, Mets Police has learned (from a site that has lifted “Rapid Reaction” as a title, I should introduce the author to the “Morning Briefing” guys…why not just buy AdamRubin.com and call your site that fellas?) that the Mets lost 6-2 and are now a .500 team.

The next time anyone in baseball starts whining about the travel or getting in late or day game after night game, show them this. This guy gets NINE HOURS OF SLEEP AND WAKES UP AT 11AM. Look at your watch right now and ask yourself how much sleep you got. And do you still wear a watch? Really?
