MEDICAL UPDATE ON METS PITCHER JEURYS FAMILIA
FLUSHING, N.Y., May 11, 2017 – Jeurys Familia was examined today by doctors at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York and diagnosed with an arterial clot is his right shoulder. Jeurys will see Dr. Robert Thompson tomorrow in St. Louis for further tests and possible surgery.
Mets GM Sandy Alderson will be available pregame tomorrow in Milwaukee.
