Hi kids. I am having a fantastic Sunday. I am actually reading. Yep. Almost no tweets, no music, no podcasts, just me and an e-book poolside. It’s gorgeous out.
Now I could put the game on the radio or some sort of audio streaming, but as has been well discussed those are all awful options. And I don’t feel like staring at a screen/slingbox/going inside.
So I’m skipping this one as the Mets have taught me that they aren’t worth my most valuable resource this season which is time. There aren’t any players on this team that I particularly like, and some I actively don’t – and we’re in this holding pattern before the rebuild toward whatever is Next.
So on this sunny Sunday afternoon I say to you Let’s Go Mets….but I’m not giving up a sunny Sunday afternoon to them.
