There was some talk before the lineup changes about whether or not the Mets red a third baseman for 2018 (you know, David Wright is signed for three more seasons and all.) I think the baseball gods let Sandy know loud and clear.

That is an excellent call. It describes the play without resorting to any gimmicks. That’s the Gary we all know and love and it’s nice to see Gare back in form these last two nights. Perhaps he read my blog.
