SLACKISH REACTION: fun fun night at the soccer game aka #soccerinvasion. The energy was better than I have felt at any baseball game since the 80’s on Gooden Night. I can only imagine what it would have been like had the USMNT scored….because they didn’t score. The Ticos did make the “should we beat traffic” decision easier by making it 2-0 in the 81st minute. Fun night, but I do wonder how long it will be before a meaningful USMNT game comes to Harrison again.
Today, Matt Harvey and 6 or 7 t-shirt die-hards Invade Houston. I might even watch and totally am not rooting for the Astros to put up 10 in the 1st inning (leading to an 11-10 Mets win).
