SLACKISH REACTION:  Matt “Harv” Harvey (“The Next Seaver”) increased his career record to 34-32, but Wins are a stupid stat anyway whether it’s 34-32 or 311-205, I think we can agree that Wins depend on your offense – and the offense gave Matt his usual 7 or 8 runs of support (see Houston) and The Dark Knight pitched amazingly OK enough to get one of those prized Wins!  Here’s what the Post had to say..

Speaking of Franchise Players, the other great Met (the three are Harv, Seaver and Wright) was around yesterday and NO HE DOESN’T WANT TO MANAGE THE METS (told you) and is still trying to come back even though at this point nobody believes it will happen but we’re all too nice to say it and even DW knows it deep down and says he just wants to play catch with his kids.  Yuck.  Why can’t we ever have nice things like David Wright.

Mets fans are Hashtag Loyal, and there were no fake phony fans who rooted for the team starting in August 2015. However we get the last laugh because those people now have useless Yankees #99 jerseys. Anyway, the real fans showed up for Harv Day and let me know when the boycott nonsense starts again (aka frontrunners making excuses).  “21,274” for Harv Day.
