Gooden went 3-4 before being suspended for cocaine, and while on that suspension was suspended for all of 1995. Wow. This was the last year of Real Baseball which ended in a strike, and when baseball resumed it had Wild Cards and steroids and nothing would ever again be the same.
The Mets were 54-59 which is Great considered to the last two seasons.
Oh well, if this strike ever ends I will pick up the series…..
