Apparently the Syracuse Chiefs have an exciting Hot Stove Dinner and the Mets are choosing to use some of their powers of persuasion to make some the Mets alumni make the road trip.
Fomer Mets stars, Mookie Wilson, Edgardo Alfonzo, Tim Teufel and Ron Darling are all expected to attend the event.
The Hot Stove Dinner features a silent auction, panel discussions with the baseball stars as well as an interactive Q&A opportunity for all guests.
