SLACKISH REACTION: been watching a lot of The Crown, so so good.
Had a nice moment at Donuts Chain where I had my hands full as everyone is home today and I had a 12-box plus two drinks. A nice young woman offered tp open my car door. Thank you nice young woman! It’s the little gestures that go a long way.
Had a dream about an old Tom Seaver saying goodbye to me as his health was fading. It was approaching Tom’s 80th birthday in this one, but let’s hope all of it stays in Inception-land.
Oh, you came here for Mets News? Come on bro, even Adam Rubin used to take these weeks off.
IT IS COLD: Climate change deniers need to read this from two weeks ago which will explain to you why it is cold, and why the underlying reason is disastrous
NOT LINKING: the guys at Amazing Apple Insiderized Mets Blog Report float yet another random player who COULD help the Mets. I don’t get it guys. Also some generic Thor Works Out nonsense. And don’t forget COULD Todd Frazier come to Queens? Yes he could, that’s how the word COULD works. Now could Babe Ruth come to Queens? No, because he is dead.
The only thing I find sillier than Amazing Apple Insiderized Mets Blog Report is the boycott. They had their secret meeting last night, here’s the latest.
Let’s clear up some misconceptions about #MetsFansUnited #MetsBoycott that I’ve heard over the last couple weeks.
1. Nobody that I know who is in the movement has been calling people who will go to the games “not real fans.” That is a completely made up, red-herring distraction.

2. Although #MetsBoycott was the first thing to get attention, a boycott is not the goal (or the only goal) of #MetsFansUnited, which is a group that hopes to band together to represent Mets fans as a supporters union and speak with one voice.

So now it’s not a boycott it’s a “union” of sorts. The boycott did not even make it to New Year’s Day….so once again I was right.
