Speaking of Halls of Fame, I laughed when I stumbled across a post on the Amazing Apple Insiderized Mets Blog Report which was suggesting some new names for the Mets Hall of Fame. (Not linking). I wonder where they got that idea?
SLACKISH REACTION: On a very very crowded PATH yesterday I saw a grown man playing a Mortal Combat type game on his iPad. I liked video games but couldn’t help but think how ridiculous he looked. But hey I like my video games and all. So my man puts away his iPad and…..takes out his phone and starts playing more games. Just seemed ridiculous. Also on my travels, you know how every third New Yorker is part of the Arctic Expeditionary Force and has one of those big parkas with that logo? I saw a dude with a knockoff ANTarctic Athletic Force coat, I kid you not.
Anyway Christie effed everyone at the trains suck and making people get off at Journal Square is the devil. I get “headways” but surely trains could continue to Newark and dead-end and head back. Yes, “headways” but the current system has ALL the people who want to go to WTC and ALL the people who want to go to 33rd cramming in between Harrison and JSQ and it’s like we’re in the Far East and people are hanging off the ceiling. There’s capacity and then there’s there is no physical way another human can cram in this car.
