My good friends the Mets want you to know that….  (oh and the bold in the 4th paragraph is mine, interesting merch/uni mention)

METS TO CELEBRATE JACKIE ROBINSON DAY

APRIL 15 AT CITI FIELD

FLUSHING, N.Y., April 12, 2018 – The New York Mets today announced the activities that will take place at Citi Field to commemorate the annual, league-wide ‘Jackie Robinson Day’ on Sunday, April 15 prior to the 1:10 p.m. game vs. the Milwaukee Brewers. Activities include a tour given by Jackie Robinson Foundation scholars, pregame ceremonies with the Jackie’s wife, and Founder of the Jackie Robinson Foundation, Rachel Robinson along with their children, Sharon and David Robinson.

In celebration of Jackie Robinson Day, the Mets and the Jackie Robinson Foundation will be teaming up to educate young men and women from Fivetowns Community Center and The W.A.N.T.E.D. Project about Jackie and his legacy. Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholars will guide the group on a tour of the Jackie Robinson Rotunda at Citi Field and then watch clips of the movie 42. Sharon, Jackie’s daughter will be joined by former Mets outfielder Mookie Wilson to discuss Jackie and then take questions from the audience. The group will receive tickets, a food voucher and a copy of42.

After a pregame celebration of Jackie’s legacy, Rachel will present the first pitch ball to Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholar Akintunde Ahmad, who will toss the ceremonial pitch to Mookie Wilson.

The Mets, along with all 30 Major League teams, will also sport new ‘42’-stamped batting practice attire with other uniform elements that were added as a complementary feature to the unique and special tradition of Major League players and all on-field personnel wearing Jackie’s number ’42.’ Additional on-field uniform elements include a commemorative patch on all team caps and jersey sleeves, socks emblazoned with ’42,’ and a brand new lightweight hooded fleece for batting practice and dugout wear, also featuring the ‘42’ logo.

….

Press release over…here’s the snazzy hoodie, or as we called it in the 20th Century, a sweatshirt.  Fortunately the Mets game is between soccer games so I will be able to Slingbox Screengrab the joint.
