SLACKISH REACTION: Quiet morning after the off-day. There are a few articles about Mickey and how calm he is. Seems like the Mickey Mafia got the word out to do some spin control.
The one possible outlier is Andy Martino. I saw an article that I thought my be interesting but then I saw it was by Andy Martino. I don’t know about you, but my brain kind of non-person’d him way back when…welll I will let his words stand.
To this day I am surprised SNY runs him out there as I immediately check out because of all that stuff. I don’t personally know any Mets fans who are into his work. It may be a situation where it’s not meant to be on this side of town.
Anyway, I didn’t read his Mickey article.
Mickey’s Mets are 4.5 back and totally didn’t collapse.
Tonight the Blue Jays have to play a different style of baseball than they normally play which is unfair, silly, and makes no sense.
