Mets put Familia on the DL because of course

ROSTER MOVES: Prior to tonight’s game, the Mets placed RHP Jeurys Familia on the 10-Day Disabled List, retroactive to June 7, with a sore right shoulder and recalled RHP Jacob Rhame from Las Vegas (AAA) of the Pacific Coast League…Rhame will wear #35 and will be available for tonight’s game…He was 0-1 with five saves and a 5.02 ERA (eight earned runs/14.1 innings) in 11 games with the 51s…Rhame is 0-1 with one save and a 6.35 ERA (eight earned runs/11.1 innings) in 11 games with the Mets this year.

YOENIS CÉSPEDES: Will play in a minor league rehabilitation game tonight for Binghamton (AA) of the Eastern League at Trenton…Cespedes has been on the DL since May 14 with a strain of the right hip flexor.

The Mets have lost 11 of their last 13 games, including six straight…The six-game losing streak is tied for the Mets longest this season (also May 1-6)…New York has lost eight straight home games and is 12-19 at Citi Field this season…The last time the Mets dropped eight consecutive games at home was May 10-25, 2013…The Mets are 7-13 in one-run games (3-6 in such games at home).
