Isn’t the den Dekker call up weird? Like very suspiciously weird? Why him? Why yesterday? Gare even walked us through how it was Roster Weird and that they released someone to get den Dekker here even though they could have moved Cespedes to the 60 Day DL (he’s been out 58 days). Weird.
There’s a John Harper article out there discussing how weird it is that Reyes plays every day. It’s the best piece off digging since Rubin left town, but since Harper is in the Martino Zone after the silliness of the Mets trading BOTH Jake and Thor to the Yankees, I will not link. I wish someone else had written it but once you’re in the Martino Zone there is no coming back.
