So basically if Alonso doesn’t hit at least 500 career HRs he is a failure.
I am going to demand that he be the next Lou Gehrig. If he even takes a day off he is letting me down.
How about we just let him come up and let him be the first and only Peter Alonso.
You guys set yourselves up to be sad. A year ago you were probably creaming over the idea of Dom Smith. A year ago you didn’t even know who Alonso is. You probably aren’t even sure if he is in AA or AAA….are you? No you aren’t.
