So I don’t know too much about this, but the guys over at Van Hagar took a break from posting Jason Jacome game used cleats to write about these Mets 9-11 jerseys.
Seems there is this eBay posting…here look….
I challenge the Mets to buy back the same twenty 9/11 jersey’s that they sold me for $50,000. I don’t want one cent of the money.
The Mets would have to make two checks, both for $25,000 each.
The first would be made to the Shannon Forde Foundation. Shannon was a long time employee of the Mets and past away two years ago from cancer. Shannon has two young children that could use the money for their education.
The second check would be made out to Ed Kranepool. Kranepool was a long time Met that gave his heart and soul to the team for 18 long seasons. He is an original Met and also played on that miracle team in 1969 that won the World Series. Ed is in need of a kidney transplant and this money will help with his hospital bills.
