Why does everyone suck? Because MetsBlog, which is having a pretty lousy year, had this posted at 10:38. I tweeted about it shortly after. Now every site has Discovered This. It’s just lame Copycat journalism….but hey I will play too.
Commentwise, the Mets are now in a bind because they’ve done this for a much of former players and now can’t stop doing it lest they diss someone. Matt was a major hero in these parts, started the ASG at Citi Field and was The Next Seaver to y’all….so yeah he gets a video. You guys fanned the flames, so don’t act like this is the wrong thing to do now.
Give the guy some nice polite applause and let’s agree to just be friends and we can slowly drift apart and check each other out on Instagram sometimes.

As an aside, I used to call this ME TOO BLOGGING but I do not wish in anyway to be disrespectful or flippant of the #MeToo movement. If you have an idea about what to call Everyone Blogging The Same Thing syndrome, let me know.
