SLACKISH REACTION: So even I stayed up past 10 last night, until 10:45! But at 10:45 it was only the end of the third quarter, and the baseball game was in like the 11th inning. I think American Sports is insane. Who is watching all this stuff until midnight? Don’t you have jobs? I started working (from home) at 5:45 this Friday morning. I can’t watch Jets-Browns until 12 o’clock. Anyway the Mets won it seems. Whatever.
Did you notice last night was a pretty rare GKR? OOPS!!!! Someone thought Mets-Nats in September would be a big series. Nope!!!
John Smoltz realizes September baseball is useless, which I have been saying for a few weeks now. His proposal is to have split seasons which is a terrible idea. I like my idea of a 144 game schedule (which won’t happen because nobody will accept less money) or even fewer. Anyway we can all agree that this month of baseball sucks, and this season you can’t even back it up with pennant race excitement. The AL has been quite done for a while.
