Hey if your kid looks hung over at school today, it’s because she or he is a huge fan of baseball. My friend let me know he was up until 2:40 Eastern last night (my friend is INSANE) watching baseball.
Apparently the Dodgers won in the 13th.
The game started after 9pm for some reason and went five hours and fifteen minutes.
Even in Los Angeles that was after 11.
I have told baseball how to fix extra innings – if the game is tied after 9 then the road team wins. That makes the bottom of the 9th as dramatic as being down a run…it’s a do or die half inning.
And the 9pm start is inexcusable.
If you watched baseball until 3 in the morning, may the baseball gods bless you, and may your wife have your head examined and may your parents do a better job.
