Sterling or Scully: Joe Buck trackwalls two huge World Series calls. Boo.

Joe my man, what the hell are you doing? You have been calling WS games for a quarter century, and on a big night you start Trackwalling? Let’s start with the 8th inning. This ball is clearly gone. This is Trackwalling 101, “Back to the wall” is what an announcer says when on autopilot. Terrible call here Joe.

Now this next one Joe….you gotta be ready for it….I know that this ball isn’t clearly gone, but in the back of your mind you need to have something ready like a simple “…and we’ll see you tomorrow night.” This one needed a “this one might go….” or something. Back at the wall is very lazy. I will repeat and use caps because I am shouting at you. BACK AT THE WALL IS LAZY.

Verdict: A double Sterling on a big night. That’s a grade F

Here’s the Spanish language call. I don’t know what is being said, but I can tell you from here it’s a better call just off the man’s pacing.

Verdict: Scully

Thx to Manny for sending me clips and reminding me there was a baseball game on.
