Mets Police Morning Laziness: It is Spring Training Truck Day!

SLACKISH REACTION:  My cord cutting experiment has passed the test. I am using Youtube TV (which has SNY) and it was fine during The Big Game.  I had three incidents of minor buffering, I counted they were like under two seconds each – so lets call it six seconds at a savings of $190….I’m not willing to pay $30+ a second to Fios so I’m good.

As for Twitter Spoilers/Internet Delay it wasn’t bad.  There were a few times where the instant a play happened that I saw tweets that couldn’t possibly have been written that quickly, but it was no worse than what SNY’s Twitter does when the Mets are on the road (you know, when they spoil their own telecast.)

Cut the cord folks.  Cut the cord.

Pitchers and Catchers next week….but despite people being really excited that football is over, its actually the NBA that’s on the clock.

I kinda felt like the Super Bowl was down a notch.  Wasn’t much pre-buzz, we all know the game stunk, we all know half-time was awful….it just doesn’t feel like it resonated the same way, after what was a successful season.

It is Florida Truck Day which really excites some people.

There’s not much new this morning, but the weekend was fairly busy…

People actually read one of my Willets Point Development Articles for a change!  I guess I should do these on Saturdays for now on.

Here’s what Andy Martino writes.

I have a whole bunch of BIG ARTICLES this week so I am looking forward to it.  BIG ARTICLES are when I actually take the time to flesh out some thoughts instead of reacting to news or posting caps.  I of course will do that too.
