Mets Police Morning Laziness: the One True Ace aces the Nats’ Ace

SLACKISH REACTION:  I don’t care about the result, I care about the time of game.  2:44!   Anything under three hours at this point is awesome.   The new plan worked great (go bullpen!).  The money seems well spent.  Only 809 more games on Cano’s contract until we really know.  What’s not to like?

Well, I don’t like Gary’s home run call.

I do like Howie’s home run call.

The One True Ace has gove up 3 or fewer runs in THIRTY straight starts

It was a funky Opening Day for me as I had to Actually Work (TM) and got stuck in a long conference and couldn’t watch the game or tweet.  (Shudder.)

I did watch the game when I got home – I felt GKR were a little flat for a pretty crisp game.  Maybe it’s because I knew the result.

For those of you interested in my cord-cutting.  I watched my Youtube TV account in the office both on my laptop and phone.  My season pass for Mets recorded the game.  Everything working fine.  Cut the cord.

The mid-inning split screen 6 second commercial can GFY.

You know today is bithces?
