SLACKISH REACTION: I am stealing from @Ceetar here (as usual) but there isn’t a Mets-Phillies rivalry no matter how much the media wants there to be and despite MLB.com describing it as “extra spicy” (not linking) and Jacob Rhame being suspended for two days. Also it seems like everyone who covers the Mets stays for one year, maybe two, and then gets their dream job covering the Yankees so I pay no attention to any of them.
I come from the days of Mets-Cardinals in the 80s. That was a rivalry. This is nothing.
