Oh no, the wheels may have come off yesterday. Koosman was Cruisin’ as usual (I am totally starting a bumper sticker company with that!) – 4.1 scoreless when he had to come out. I really hope he’s OK.
The kid Ryan is a heck of a reliever, finishing off the shutout and sharking Jerry’s win. Then again, the Expos suck – they play Don Clendenon at first, that should tell you plenty.
Buddy is looking great leading off – now up to .255. If he can bat .250 in the leadoff spot with that glove he’s golden.
The bad news? Gil has but Terrific back in the rotation. Sigh.
