Matt Harvey went to Mexico for Cinco De Mayo! How did he pitch? You’ll look!

You may remember Matt Harvey loves Cinco De Mayo, so how great was it that he got to spend Cinco in Mexico (even if it’s more of an American thing.)  Matt has a nice tight new buzzcut as he takes the mound…

Matt is looking pretty trim!

And it was a 1-2-3 ten pitch inning for TDKOALA!

On to the second, and the Angels have spotted Matt to a 1-0 lead!

But uh oh…

It’s one of those pesky leadoff doubles.  Well, Matt has been really great lately, right Angels Media, I’m sure he will…..UH OH

Uh oh…..

Oh no.

And then two MORE singles!  Nobody out!

But Matt did not melt down!  A double play and a groundout and he’s out of the inning!

Lucroy homered to give Matt a 3-2 lead and surely three runs would be all The Next Nolan Ryan would need….

With one out, it’s Jose Altuve, one of the rare baseball players I have heard of and….say it with me…

Sit down son.  And uh oh…..

Whew… that one stayed in the park.  This guy Trout plays good defense, baseball should market him.  It’s a 1-2-3 third in your scorebook and next year’s team that signs Matt but didn’t watch the games won’t know about all these type of outs.

The 4th was a cruise for The Real Deal…so much so I didn’t even screen grab anything.

And what does Matty Baseball get for his great inning?  A lecture from The Sweatshirt Bully!

Matt does not look happy with The Sweatshirt Bully.

On to the 5th….

A quick out and then a HBP.  Would Matt be able to overcome adversity?

Uh oh….

That was actually an out.  Those don’t show up in your scorebook and you need to know about these before you give this guy $11 million.

Anyway so more shenanigans and a walk and here comes The Sweat Shirt Bully.  He’s had enough.

But you know what Sweatshirt Bully….you made the wrong call because the reliever came in and gave up a GRAND SLAM.   That will not help TDKOALA’s final line…

Sorry Matt.  At least it’s your favorite holiday and the team is off tomorrow.  You can stay up late feeding your burrito habit and maybe play some golf tomorrow.

The final line: 4 and 2/3.   5 runs, all earned, a walk and one strikeout.

And I was happy as it was a nice short MH recap and I can go watch TV.

Tune in again next time, Same Bat time, Same Bat Channel.
