Mets Police Morning Laziness: Wags sits with random fans Gary Cohen doesn’t say the name of

“It was awesome,” said Van Wagenen, the agent-turned-general manager who was wearing one of The 7 Line Army jerseys and blue jeans. “The season hasn’t gone the way we had hoped it would go. I told you Wags was a man of his word, and he got some good PR out of it.  Now Jeff WIlpon should take my advice and do the same.

Some more pics of that outing here.

And of course, Gary did not mention The 7 Line, which he never does.  Ask Gary why not.  Michael Kay did mention them.

The Mets, who do not have personal catchers, are letting Syndergaard and deGrom have personal catchers.

The Dark Knight suddenly returned last night!  How did he do? You’ll look.

SLACKISH REACTION:  The Mets won!  I never really got into the game and wound up deep diving on Beach Boys reddit.

NOT LINKING:  Articles talking about Cano heating up.  It’s July and the season is over.

Goooooood.

I am heading out on the road again.  My young apprentice Niko who did a fabulous job last weekend will be in charge again for a bit.
