It’s common knowledge that fireworks are synonymous with the Fourth of July (just like Baseball and apple pie).
With that being said, I myself have never been a big pyrotechnics guy. I have environmental concerns, and in rural areas, I believe that they are bad for the community, especially at the nighttime.
Well, this takes things to a whole new level:
The fireworks for the St. Lucie Mets did not go well tonight at First Data Field. They set a fire outside the stadium.

Obviously, the first priority is the safety of all involved. Thankfully there were no injuries or fatalities, and the local authorities state that the blaze was under control.
With that being said, judging from these pictures that have been provided from the fans in Florida, its appears as if the situation went really askew:
It appears as if the backfields are what was impacted the most, if anything, and there is little build out there to begin with, so the situation probably didn’t impact anything structurally.
I can only wait for the jokes and images that will pop-up on Twitter from this blaze….
