ICYMI, the Mets – who are serious about contending – traded Jason Vargas to the Phillies. While looking at the standings, Wags should have noticed that the Phillies are one of the teams the Mets are trying to pass.
But hey, the Mets got back a 26 year old catcher hitting .195 who just happens to be a former teammate of Jeff Wilpon’s son. What an amazing coincidence!
