Jerry wasn’t sharp again – 5 runs (3 earned) in 7 innings but holy cow look at the 9th inning of Game 1. ELEVEN RUNS? The Mets gave up 11 to the Astros in one inning?
Jerry’s ERA ballooned to 2.08. Not good.
Game 2 was even worse. Gary G had NOTHING. 8 runs in 2 and 2/3. Awful.
Are the Mets turning into a pumpkin?
16 to 3 and an 11 to 5 game? That’s an ugly Wednesday afternoon at Shea. Yuck.
