Well the Mets scored for “Tom Terrific” as usual – watch them score nothing for Jerry – but wow Tom was awful Four runs in 7 innings is not major league ready. Funny how Tom is “great” against the Padres but any time he has to pitch against a real team the wheels come off. This is the softest 17 wins I have ever seen.

The Mets are 7 games out. Too bad second place doesn’t qualify for the stupid expanded playoffs because someone made “divisions.” The Mets have the second best record in the league and will get to watch the Dodgers or Reds win the western side and advance. Ridiculous.
