It is National Dog Day and an off-day and I have 11+ years of blog posts to recycle so…here’s some Mets Dogs.
Younger fans may not know about Homer The Beagle, who was the Mets’ first mascot. Mr. Met was just a drawing back then.
And of course Jeff McNeil adopted the puppy, but the Mets don’t send me things the way they did when Shannon Forde was around so you’ll have to use your memories for that one.
I don’t know why that Reyes one was in my images but it cracks me up.
