SLACKISH REACTION: Wow there is so much more free time when one does not have to watch a baseball game. I took in the first part of Ken Burns’ documentary about country music and loved it.
It got me thinking about how for most of the 2010’s that watching the Mets with the second screen experience of twitter was lots of fun. Somewhere along the way, I don’t know if everyone quite twitter or if I blocked everyone or they blocked me, but the hang ended. And 2019 was a lot of boredom punctuated by too many Pete Alonso HRs (an unbelievable amount!) which led to idiots tweeting profane variations of LGM, so I’m sure I blocked all those people….yeah nobody left to talk to. Regardless, life without baseball is awesome.
NOT LINKING: The new thing is writing random columns about managers. Apparently one dopey site floated David Cone as manager. Stop being stupid.
Not much else to report. Did Noah quit Instagram or did he change his handle and I don’t know what it is?
