Hey, remember the Mets Fan Council?
At some point, the Mets invited fans to sign up for their Fan Council. I can’t find anything about it on-line this morning, including on my own site….hold on…..
..that’s better, now I have added a CONSPIRACY ELEMENT to my post….
Yeah so there was this Fan Council that definitely existed. I know two people personally who were on it. (I did not apply in case you’re wondering.)
Did these people accomplish anything?
Are they the ones who told the Mets we don’t want backpacks at the games?
Are they the ones behind the Fan Fest? Did they tell the Mets to break it into three two hour chunks?
Who are the people on this council? (other than The Two Known Representatives) What did you meet about? Do you still meet? Did you actually make anything better for fans? Or are things as messed up in Queens as we all think and there’s nothing you can do?
Why do we hear nothing about this?
And most importantly – if you’re representing The Fans, are you in on this Fan Fest?
