SLACKISH REACTION: I am very disturbed by this Vulgar Pete Alonso video. The more I think about it, it’s not just a foolish young man following the wrong path, it’s his enablers. Someone made big giant letters. Someone set up a video shoot. This didn’t just happen on a whim.

I guess you could read this article about James Dolan wanting to buy the Mets….or really wanting to buy SNY and if the stupid baseball team comes with it, fine. The striking part is the reminder that Dolan is worth “only” $1.5B and isn’t rich enough to buy the team. You guys can Stupid Wilpons all you want, but they are even rich for rich guys because of this asset they bought way back when.
I hope Dolan does buy the Mets because I thrive on chaos, and the Jim Dolan Era would likely be so so so so so so so so so so so bad that you’d pine for Jeff Wilpon to come back.
