I feel bad for Wacha Wacha. He seems to think the Mets told him he’d be a starter. They probably did. The problem is they have six.
Matz and Wacha could essentially tag in and out of the rotation depending upon matchups. The team might also utilize an opener. (per MLB Trade Rumors)
Oh good, the Mets overthinking and overcomplicating things even more. That solution won’t work as it will just make everyone unhappy and off-rhythm. We’ve been playing this sports for 150 years, 50 of it with five man rotations – stop trying to reinvent everything and just play baseball.
