OMG that may have been the worst baseball booth in the history of the sport.
It started poorly when Jon Sciambi welcomed us to the Big Apple. Let me call time out right there. Nobody from here calls it that. Maybe we did 40 years ago, but nobody calls it that. That’s like rolling into Philly and assuming everyone has a cheesesteak or saying Wicked to validate your Boston accent.
Sciambi was bad, Sutcliffe worse, and Chipper Jones yikes.
Then they brought in Smoltz for a Zoom visit and some Chipper Chop Busting….and it was like HEY CAN YOU SHOW THE GAME?
Rick Porcello knows how to curve a brim.
Vulgar Pete does not.
