Mets game notes Seth Lugo edition

My friends the Mets sent me some game notes. Honestly they aren’t that interesting today and I am enjoying my deck. The game is at 6:30 again.

LAST START: Earned his first win as a starter since June 10, 2018 vs. the Yankees…Tied his career-high with eight strikeouts (third time, second vs. the Phillies)…Threw 5.0 innings allowing just one run, earned, in the Mets’ 5-1, win over the Phillies at Citi Field on September 5…Allowed four hits, walked two and fanned a season-high eight batters…Was his longest outing both by pitches thrown and innings pitched since June 25, 2018 vs. Pittsburgh…Has a 1.54 ERA (2 ER/11.2 IP) in three starts this year…Was the Mets’ first win from a starting pitcher since August 13, ending a franchise-record-tying streak of 19 games without a starter getting a win.
