Hey MLB, check out this cool clip I saw on MLB’s Social Media Accounts!

So, several problems here MLB.
1. Clearly that’s not a strike. But hahaha position player on the mound and it’s 15-1 and we all want to go home, so who cares. Integrity of the game that’s who.
2. Position player on the mound hahaha.
3. A game is being continued at 15-1.
Your sport, which is so so so so so so broken, needs a mercy rule.
Let me write one for you.
Games are ended when one team is ahead by 10 runs, once at least seven completed innings are played by the trailing team.
What do you think? Good, because you wrote it. I got that form the World Baseball Classic.
There was no reason to even play that inning. The Mets weren’t trying. The umpires weren’t trying. There weren’t fans in the stands. What are we even doing at that point?
Commercial inventory? Maybe. But there are systems in place for make-goods when rain delays happen. That’s easily solved. Plus, half the time SNY in market one is running promos for baseball games and shows few people watch so I am sure it’s not like you’re leaving billions on the table if you don’t plat that inning.
Should we even talk about how my team is 2.5 out of a playoff spot and yet I have turned the game off two nights in a row because of terrible product? Nah, let’s save that for a different rant.
Back to the original point – nice clip you chose, right? Hey everyone, look at our sport being a complete joke!
