Long story short, I was looking to buy an orange cap. Long time readers know I have posted tons of wacky Mets caps over the years and I was stunned to find….they are all gone from the various websites!
Is this the Fanatics Borg taking over? I went to MLB shop and Lids and New Era and many of the custom caps sites and I can’t find…
And I also can’t find any wacky colors!
You used to be able to just jump on and buy a colorful cap. No more.
I am not mad about it, just curious why the Cap People have trimmed the available inventory.
I am in the process of determining which cap I will use to give its service to sun and sand. Each summer I beat the heck out of one cap. Haven’t picked yet. If you wear them out at the beach/poolside all summer they actually shrink over time.
