Won’t embarrass the franchise.
Seems like the perfect choice. This hiring immediately ends the LOLMets Circus. Buck won’t even need to horse hockey us with “new culture” talk. Let’s just win some baseball games.
So why won’t Buck Showalter manage the Mets? Because the Mets need to show how “smart” they are and will go with some out of the box untried manager (AGAIN) and fail again. The Mets never learn. They never learn.
Buck is the right move. They won’t make it.
