Earlier today I found it odd that Mike Piazza wasn’t involved in the Old Timers’ Day announcement. Well Mike has made like Sean Spicer and cleaned up the messaging.
I’ve been doing this a long time and I’d like to know what really went down here. My guess is someone at the Mets read their favorite website and were like uh oh Optica and jumped on the phone.
