Vaguely Interesting Mets-Giants game notes for April 21

Baseball, which can’t play 7pm World Series games have a West Coast team playing at 10am on a weekday for some reason.

RHP Anthony DeSclafani (0-0, 4.32) vs. RHP Carlos Carrasco (0-0, 0.84)

Francisco Lindor had his on-base streak snapped at 12 games last night…He is batting .277 (13-47) with 10 runs, four doubles, three home runs, nine RBI, nine walks, a .404 OBP, a .553 SLG with a .957 OPS.  He can bat .400 and break the home run records, he’s still the most despicable Met and will never be forgiven.

Alonso is tied for third in the majors and tied for second in the NL with 14 RBI…He is batting .260 (13-50) with nine runs three doubles, three home runs, 14 RBI, two walks, a .500 SLG and an .816 OPS in 13 games this year…He is batting .353 (6-17) with six runs, two doubles, three homes, 11 RBI with a 1.389 OPS in four games as a designated hitter this year.  Perhaps he should always DH.
