Why the Marlins should protest their Keith Hernandez Day loss to the Mets!…why does @MLB even have rules?

It has come to my attention that the Mets had a coach on the field prior to the winning run scoring.

Any manager worth his Herzog should have immediately gone out and protested this okay. Clearly we cannot have coaches on the field while ball is live.

Sometimes I wonder why MLB even has rules.

Now before you tell me it’s a walk-off…

How many coaches can I have out there on the play? All of them?

Is it “too soon” at any point? Can the coach come celebrate as the runner rounds second? How about first?

Can the coach come out and celebrate if he’s confident the run will score on a sacrifice fly?

What about a single to left? Looks to me like the runner will be safe. Can I run on the field of play?

Obviously the answer is no. The Marlins should protest the play, the run does not score.
