“The 7-Line” gives them away.
Now, obviously “The 7 Line” has entered the vernacular but that’s an apparel line for people who sit 500 feet from home plate, think “He Struck Him Out” is cool and leave early during playoff games.
But, in the big city, one does not take The 7 Line. One takes “The Seven” or “The Seven Train”
Maybe you aren’t with me yet….
Would you ever tell someone to take the 4 Line to Yankee Stadium? Did Duke Ellington record Take The A Line? No and no.
Would you take the 7 line to 74th and transfer to the F Line? No you would not.
So Mets social media person, you have been exposed as an out of towner! No wonder you don’t understand that the Mets should not wear black. Maybe the Las Vegas A’s are hiring.
